CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
(Dallas + Frisco) MUSICAL THEATRE | Grades 3 – 5 – This fun class is taught by professional actor/director K. Doug Miller. Students will explore the basic techniques of acting, singing, and stage movement. The class will also help students develop confidence and serve as a great creative outlet.
(Dallas) MUSICAL THEATRE | Grades 6 – 8 – Middle school students will explore their acting, singing, and stage movement skills through monologue and scene work, proper vocal technique, improvisation, and auditioning. This confidence-building class will be taught by professional actor/director K. Doug Miller.
(Dallas) HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE | Grades 9 – 12 – This class is taught by professional actor/director K. Doug Miller and will focus primarily on acting. It will also incorporate vocal technique and stage movement. Students will explore monologue and scene work, improvisation, selection of audition songs, characterization, and stage presence/confidence, as well as audition and vocal technique. This is essential training for those that would like to pursue musical theatre, either as a career or hobby.
(Frisco) MUSICAL THEATRE | Grades 7 – 12 – This class is taught by professional actor/director K. Doug Miller and will focus primarily on acting. It will also incorporate vocal technique and stage movement. Students will explore monologue and scene work, improvisation, selection of audition songs, characterization, and stage presence/confidence, as well as audition and vocal technique. This fun class is great training for those that would like to pursue performing, either as a career or hobby.
ACTING COMPANY | FRISCO
The acting company is performance-driven and provides a comprehensive study of acting technique, theatre and musical theatre history, and terminology. Company actors study proper vocal technique (acting and singing), song interpretation, scene work, and musical theatre choreography. Our Winter and Spring Shows (sometimes a musical, sometimes a student showcase) is presented at a top local theatre!
