JEREMY DUMONT began his dance training at the age of 10 and has been performing ever since. He began his career on stage when he joined the national tour of The Music Man at the age of 13. Wanting to pursue a career on the stage, Jeremy moved to New York and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Immediately after college he was cast in the international tour of West Side Story, and toured for two years in countries including Japan, China, Singapore, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Chile.

Jeremy has appeared in numerous American regional productions at top theaters, playing leading and featured roles. Locally, his professional stage work includes roles at Lyric Stage, Casa Manana, Dallas Theater Center, Theatre Three, Garland Summer Musicals and Dallas Children’s Theater.

Jeremy is also a working choreographer, director and teacher, having taught and choreographed at numerous theaters and schools across the country. His choreography credits include The Music Man and42nd Street for Garland Summer Musicals, the regional premiere of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs at Dallas Children’s Theater (directed by Doug Miller), and Casa Mañana productions including Hairspray, Oliver and the Apprentice Program’s The Secret Garden.

Jeremy is currently directing Seussical for Casa Manana, where he is also their Resident Director and Choreographer for the Children’s Theatre.
