All roles are available. Seeking a diverse group of youth actors and singers grades 4 – 12. Auditions are open to the public. You do not have to be a student at TDC.
A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD is a fun musical that had a spectacular run on Broadway and was nominated for several Tony Awards. A sweet, funny story with amazing music.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must make an audition appointment once the notice is posted next week.
- Please prepare 16-32 bars (1 minute) of a Broadway song. Please bring sheet music,
and a picture/resume if you have one. - No pop songs, and no singing with a pre-recorded track.
- If you would like, you may sing ‘My Favorite Things’ from THE SOUND OF MUSIC or
‘A Bushel and a Peck’ from GUYS AND DOLLS. Please contact the TDC office and they
will send you the sheet music. - Rehearsals will most likely be on Wednesday, Friday evenings and possibly Sunday
afternoons. Please be prepared to list all your conflicts for the potential rehearsal and
performance dates. - Along with rehearsal, there will also be classes in vocal technique, acting, and dance.
This will be a learning experience for youth actors.
