The Dallas Conservatory participates in select vocal and dance competitions.
Annual Competitions include:
- Youth America Grand Prix International Ballet Competition (YAGP)
TDC competes in two other competitions annually, which have included:
- NYCDA, Jump, Radix and Nuvo
- Onstage (Vocal and Dance Competition)
Selection for all solos, duets, trios and ensembles representing the school is made by August for the coming year and is strictly based on age and level. Students may compete as an independent if not selected to represent the school. In all cases, competitors must be members of The Dallas Conservatory’s dance company (Dallas Youth Ballet), or vocal Ensemble (Children’s Singing Ensemble) and Level IV or above.
