Acting, Singing, Improv
Lois Leftwich has been acting professionally and teaching dramatic arts for years and is delighted to bring her skills and experience to The Dallas Conservatory. Living and working in New York City and surrounding areas, Lois acted professionally both onstage and on TV/Film including top national TV commercials. As an instructor in diverse programs in the tri-state area of NY/NJ/CT, she has taught Musical Theatre, Improvisation, Acting for the Camera, and Film Production at the Regional Center for the Arts, an Arts Magnet school in CT; Playhouse on the Green, CT; the Klein, CT, and Westport Country Playhouse, NY. Since returning to Dallas, Lois continues her work as a professional actress, represented by the Mary Collins Agency. As an instructor, she has worked with Dallas Children’s Theatre in programs for schools throughout DFW. At Park Cities Studios and The Dallas Conservatory, Lois teaches children’s and teen Acting, Improv and Singing classes. She also leads the Morning Arts Conservatory (MAC) for ages 3-6, PCS’s popular new early development, fine arts program that introduces children to poetry, literature, music, singing, art, theater and improvisation.
