Cameron has worked at every major theater in Dallas, in an over 20-year career as an actor and director. He received his BFA from SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts, where he got started acting professionally with both Undermain and Shakespeare Dallas, for whom he would later play Hamlet in their 50 season anniversary production directed by Rene Moreno. After graduation, he moved to New York where he worked off-Broadway as an actor and a fight choreographer. Upon his return to Dallas, he has worked with Theater Three, Watertower, Dallas Theater Center, and primarily Kitchen Dog Theater, where is a company member. He has taught acting and movement in a variety of settings. In 2014, Cameron was honored to be invited by Oklahoma CityRep to star in a production of “The Grapes of Wrath”, which was part of the official Steinbeck Foundation 75th anniversary celebration of the novel’s release. The production was prominently featured in the Emmy award-winning PBS Documentary “Back In Time”.
